The St. Louis County Circuit Court is comprised of twenty-one (21) Circuit Judges, fourteen (14) Associate Circuit Judges and eight (8) Commissioners. Each judge and commissioner is assigned to a specific division, except for the Probate Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner.

Family Court and Juvenile
Jennifer C. Hoffman has been selected by the judges of the St. Louis County Circuit Court to serve as a St. Louis Family Court Commissioner, starting May 12, 2022. Hoffman will replace Commissioner Diane Monahan, who will retire in May.
Hoffman is currently the Managing Attorney of the St. Louis County Juvenile Office. She has served in that capacity and also as a Staff Attorney for the last 6 years. During that time, she handled a wide range of juvenile law matters including care and protection, delinquency, termination of parental rights, and certifications.
Hoffman brings years of experience in juvenile law to her new position as Commissioner. She has practiced juvenile law for 19 years in various roles including Attorney for the Juvenile Officer in Jackson County, Missouri and as a guardian ad litem, representing children in the Juvenile Court in St. Louis City.
She is a graduate of the University of Missouri - Columbia School of Law, where she received her J.D. in 2003, and of the University of Wisconsin - Madison, where she received her B.A. in 2000.
