Initial Appearance Docket

for St. Louis County Circuit Court will be held in Courtroom B, Justice Center – 3rd Floor, beginning at 1:30 PM.

St. Louis County Circuit Court Deputy Probate Court Commissioner

The Circuit Court of St. Louis County is accepting applications for the position of a Deputy Commissioner of the Probate Division due to a vacancy.

The Court encourages qualified individuals to apply for the position.  The qualifications are the same as a Circuit Judge.  The applicant must be licensed to practice law in this state, be at least 30 years of age, be a citizen of the United States for at least 10 years, be a qualified voter of this state for at least the last 3 years and a resident of St. Louis County for at least one year.  Article V, Section 21 of the Missouri Constitution.  The Deputy Probate Commissioner will be appointed for a four-year term.  Section 478.266.2 RSMo.

Application forms may be picked up at the St. Louis County Courts Building, Human Resources Department, Room 151, 105 South Central Avenue, Clayton, Missouri 63105.  Applications are also available on the Courts website: http://www.stlcountycourts.com/careers/

Applications must be completed and filed with the Human Resources Department no later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, August 2, 2019.

The Judge of the Probate Court will select the Deputy Probate Commissioner on Friday, August 16, 2019.

St. Louis County Circuit Court Alternative Treatment Court Commissioner

The Circuit Court of St. Louis County is accepting applications for the position of Alternative Treatment Court Commissioner.

The Court encourages qualified individuals to apply for the position.  The qualifications are the same as a Circuit Judge.  The applicant must be licensed to practice law in this state, be at least 25 years of age, be a citizen of the United States for at least 10 years, be a qualified voter of this state for at least the last 3 years and a resident of St. Louis County for at least one year.  Article V, Section 21 of the Missouri Constitution.

Our Judges

The St. Louis County Circuit Court is comprised of twenty-one (21) Circuit Judges, fourteen (14) Associate Circuit Judges and eight (8) Commissioners. Each judge and commissioner is assigned to a specific division, except for the Probate Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner.
