St. Louis County Circuit Court Probate Commissioner

The Circuit Court of St. Louis County is accepting applications for the position of Probate Court Commissioner due to the impending retirement of the Probate Commissioner on October 18, 2018.

The Court encourages qualified individuals to apply for the position.  The qualifications are the same as a Circuit Judge.  The applicant must be licensed to practice law in this state, be at least 30 years of age, be a citizen of the United States for at least 10 years, be a qualified voter of this state for at least the last 3 years and a resident of St. Louis County for at least one year.  Article V, Section 21 of the Missouri Constitution.

Application forms may be picked up at the St. Louis County Courts Building, Human Resources Department, Room 151, 105 South Central Avenue, Clayton, Missouri 63105.  Applications are also available on the Courts website by clicking below:

Applications must be completed and filed with the Human Resources Department no later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, September 14, 2018.

The Judge of the Probate Court will select the commissioner pursuant to 478.267 RSMo. for a four-year term.
