The St. Louis County Circuit Court is comprised of twenty-one (21) Circuit Judges, fourteen (14) Associate Circuit Judges and eight (8) Commissioners. Each judge and commissioner is assigned to a specific division, except for the Probate Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner.

The court strongly urges all parties to use a device that will allow them to be visible to the court. There are public computer stations available at the courthouse in Clayton which have video capabilities. In addition, there is a satellite branch of the St. Louis County Circuit Court at the Crossings at Northwest Plaza where you can also find public computer stations with video capabilities.
You and/or your attorney will be able to participate by using a laptop or computer with a webcam or your smart phone to access the hearing. You must use a device which will allow you to be visible to the court. Above is the information you will need to join the meeting. Heather R. Cunningham was appointed Associate Circuit Judge March 6, 2020 by Governor Mike Parson. Prior to her appointment, Judge Cunningham previously served as a Family Court Commissioner-Juvenile Division.
Judge Cunningham graduated from Bradley University with a degree in political science and a minor in history. She received her law degree from St. Louis University.
Before her appointment to the bench, Judge Cunningham worked for the family law firm of Cordell & Cordell, P.C., and served as Attorney for the Juvenile Officer in the 20th Circuit and the 21st Circuit. She was an Adjunct Professor at St. Louis Community College-Meramec. Judge Cunningham serves as the Co-Chair of the Court's Diversity and Inclusion Committee and Chair of the Juvenile Detention Alternatives Initiative. She is also involved with the Court's Student Encouragement Program (formerly Truancy Court).
She is a member of the Missouri Bar, St. Louis County Bar, Women Lawyer's Association of St. Louis, Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis and Mound City Bar Association.
Judge Cunningham lives in St. Louis County with her family.
