Members of the St. Louis County Judicial Speakers Bureau are available to speak to elementary, middle and high school groups, universities, town hall meetings, churches and civic organizations on a wide range of topics, at no charge. Please send us your request at least three weeks in advance, and let us know how long you would like the judge to speak.

August 29, 2018  CLAYTON, MO – August 29, 2018 – The St. Louis County Family Court has achieved full compliance with all but one recommendation – staff training – contained in a 2016 agreement with the U.S. Department of Justice, according to a D.O.J. audit released last week. 10 August 2018   ST. LOUIS – The Twenty-First Circuit Judicial Commission announced the panel of three nominees to be submitted to Governor Michael L. Parson to fill the circuit judge vacancy in St. Louis County created by the retirement of Judge Douglas R. Beach. Those nominated by the commission are: Judge John N. Baer, Jr. Foundation to expand access to justice for civil and criminal defendants with mental illness. The grant will also be used to create a new mental health resource center in the courthouse, providing access to comprehensive services for individuals with mental illness and their families.
