The Exchange Center provides a safe and nurturing environment for children to go from one parent to the other according to the terms of parenting plans that have been ordered in divorce, paternity or adult abuse proceedings in the St. Louis County Courts.
• The Exchange Center allows a child to spend time regularly with each parent.
• Trained staff and volunteers walk a child from one parent to the other, thus protecting the child from potential conflict between parents.
• Respectful communication, careful scheduling, separate waiting areas, and clear rules promote positive exchanges.
