Catherine Keefe Selected as St. Louis Family Court Commissioner

CLAYTON, MO – July 23, 2020 – Catherine Ward Keefe has been selected by the judges of the St. Louis County Circuit Court to serve as a St. Louis Family Court Commissioner, starting Aug. 14, 2020. Keefe replaces former Commissioner Heather R. Cunningham, who was appointed as an Associate Circuit Judge by Gov. Mike Parson in March.

Keefe is a family law attorney practicing in St. Louis County. She has handled all types of family law matters including dissolutions of marriage, paternity and custody actions, guardianships of minors, and adoptions.

Keefe is the immediate past president of the Academy of Adoption and Assisted Reproduction Attorneys. She has served as guardian ad litem representing children in custody matters in the juvenile courts in St. Louis City and St. Louis County and the family courts in St. Louis City and St. Charles County.

She is a graduate of the St. Louis University School of Law, where she received her JD in 1985, and holds a BA from Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, Massachusetts.
